Membership Benefits

Joining the Cambridge Network provides specific benefits designed for Entrepreneurs and Business Leaders, people involved in HR, Marketing, Finance, Business Development, R&D as well as for students, researchers and those seeking employ.

Benefits of membership (for Corporate members these apply to all staff in the member organisation, for Individual members these apply to the named individual only) include:

  • Marketing - Leveraging the 'Cambridge' brand to make sure your message gets as high a profile as possible on the Internet! - Our site receives over 10000 hits each workday and has the dominant Alexa ranking in the East of England, our news content is run on 'Google News' and our weekly e-news letter carries this content to 3000 subscribers.  By posting press releases, company profile, product, services and events notices  you can benefit from this and drive high quality traffic to your own site.

  •  HR - Use of the Cambridge Network website for posting job advertisements (Corporate members can post up to 20 job ads at any one time). You can post jobs throughout the year within your single annual membership fee (which is cheaper than a few square centimetres once in your local paper). There is also the option to upgrade to a premium job ad for a small fee. Jobs are carried in our weekly e-jobs letter and our RSS feeds.

  • HR - Access to 'The Learning Collaboration (TLC)'. Corporate members only can participate our scheme whereby members can access in house training schemes run by larger Cambridge Companies. TLC have negotiated special rates on courses offered by major providers as well as a local salary survey.

  • Business Development -Global Corporates like Apple, Nokia and WL Gore seek partners in Cambridge through participation in 'Cambridge Corporate Gateway'. They are asked to select the people they want to meet from the profiles posted by our members on this site.

  • Start-ups Corporate Members get their own home page on or site for free. This page has areas for their products, news, events and job ads. All this is free within the subscription payment.

  • All! - Invitations to all Cambridge Network events including Open Meetings and Café Networking which are free to members (depending on your membership type you will be badged/listed under your individual or company name).

  • Functional Champions - (Corporate Members only) Participation in Special Interest Groups (with focus on: IT, Intellectual Property, Marketing, China, Healthcare) as well as investment and corporate partnering events. Special interest groups are a proven value for money alternative to buying consultancy for those wanting to benchmark their knowledge and learn new practises.

  • Finance - (Corporate Members only). Our Cambridge Network in the City events introduce investible Cambridge Phenomenon companies to City of London investors. We also have an exclusive Special Interest Group for Financial Directors.

  • Entrepreneurs, Sole Traders, Start-ups - 'Inside track' on business-to-business networking opportunities - help you find 'other parts of the jigsaw puzzle'.

  • Many of our members find their entries on our site score higher with search engines (like Google) than their own websites. Others find Cambridge Network membership fees are quickly justified by savings made on traditional recruitment media. Please see How to use this website
