What is the Cambridge Corporate Gateway?
Cambridge is synonymous with innovation. It is home to a University with a world-class record in scientific discovery and to the most vibrant cluster of high-tech and biotech companies in Europe. This unique mix of academic expertise and technology innovation, known as the 'Cambridge Phenomenon', is driving the development of breakthrough technologies and applications that are changing our world.
The Cambridge Corporate Gateway offers a bespoke programme of customised 1-2-1 meetings with leading University researchers and new technology companies in Cambridge, UK.
Delegates also have the opportunity to meet with fellow delegates over networking lunches and with the wider Cambridge community at our large Open Meeting to hear how 'Cambridge Ideas Change the World'.

Why should you attend?
Outcomes from Cambridge Corporate Gateway include trading and investment deals as well as the initiation of the process to set up new corporate research centres in our region.

The list of previous participants can be seen on the right hand side of this page. In Spring 2009 delegates represented Boots Centre for Innovation, Infosys, Itochu, Philips Research, Philips Corporate Technologies, Reckitt Benckiser, Rusnano and World Energy.

Where do the meetings take place?
The Corporate Gateway meetings take place in and around Cambridge, often on one of our Science Parks. The Gala Dinner and Open Meeting are held in University College and faculty buildings.
When is the next event?
The Corporate Gateway takes place twice a year, in Spring and Autumn. The next event will be held over 2 1/2 days, from Wednesday - Friday, 28-30th October 2009.
Who organises the Cambridge Corporate Gateway?
This event is organised jointly with the University of Cambridge's Research Services Division, which identifies funding opportunities and encourages collaboration with companies and sponsors seeking to build links with academic research, and Cambridge Network, the network co-ordinator of the cluster of science and technology companies in the Cambridge region.
Matching corporate interests to Cambridge partners is a core activity of both organisations.
