'Finding Cambridge technology partners for the world's best companies'
Next Event: Wednesday 20 - Friday 22nd October 2010

What is the Cambridge Corporate Gateway?

Cambridge Corporate Gateway is an opportunity for international companies and investment houses to gain access to diverse, world-leading technology and product development that takes place in the East of England.

How does it work?

The Corporate Gateway takes the form of a two-day event that offers delegates an individually crafted programme of one-to-one meetings with leading University of Cambridge researchers and new technology companies. You outline your areas of interest and we work with you to set up the meetings with relevant people, based on your criteria.

Why should you attend?

Cambridge Corporate Gateway is a unique way to connect with both the University and diverse enterprises operating in sectors ranging from biotechnology to telemetry, materials to printing. This is your chance to find out about the latest advances so your business can stay one step ahead.

Can you measure its success?

The Corporate Gateway has been running successfully for more than eight years and it has attracted a long list of world-class companies seeking innovation and competitive advantage (see right of this page). In 2009 delegates represented included Boots Centre for Innovation, Dow, Ericsson, Infosys, Itochu, Pepsico, Philips Research, Philips Corporate Technologies, Procter & Gamble, Reckitt Benckiser, Rusnano and World Energy.

Over the years, outcomes have included research collaborations and significant trading and investment deals as well as the establishment of new corporate research centres in our region.

Why Cambridge?

Cambridge UK is synonymous with innovation. It is home to a University with an excellent record of scientific discovery and it is one of the most vibrant clusters of high-tech and biotech companies in Europe. This unique mix of academic expertise and technology innovation, known as the 'Cambridge Phenomenon', is driving the development of ideas, breakthrough technologies and applications that are changing our world.

Who should attend?

Typical job titles have included technology scout, R&D head or CTO, venture capitalist, corporate venturer and innovation / ideas-thought leader.  The Corporate Gateway process has been described by delegates as 'gruelling', 'exhilarating' and 'most worthwhile'. You can read what previous delegates say on our testimonials page.
