Programme Outline
Day 1: Wednesday 20th October 2010 18:00 - 21.30: Cambridge Network Open Meeting: ‘Cambridge Ideas that can Change the World’
This is a regular networking opportunity for our delegates and members where we hear from Cambridge professors how their ideas might one day change the world. This event attracts 200+ delegates.
Speakers in the past year have included: Prof Gehan Amaratunga (solar cells and low power consumption), Prof Felicia Huppert (wellbeing), Dr Cameron Frayling (genome sequencing), Dr Beatrix Schlarb-Ridley (InCrops), Prof Colin Humphreys (Gallium Nitride / LEDs), Prof Peter Robinson (Human Computer Interface), Prof Austin Smith (stem cells).
