Formed in 2004, Antitope offer proprietary technologies as a comprehensive service for evaluating immunogenicity, identifying T cell epitopes, producing humanized antibodies and generating non-immunogenic proteins.

The Institute is an independent charitable life sciences institute, sponsored by the Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council. It undertakes world-leading innovative research and advanced training with relevance to the biomedical, biotechnological, pharmaceutical and healthcare communities.

The commercialisation of the Institute's research is managed by its wholly-owned trading subsidiary, Babraham Bioscience Technologies Ltd (BBT), a knowledge transfer company, which also manages a BioIncubator facility for small biotech companies. The Babraham Institute, BBT and a number of independent biomedical and biotechnology companies are situated on the Babraham Research Campus, located six miles south-east of Cambridge. Set in the picturesque parkland estate of Babraham Hall, the campus provides an environment that promotes innovation in the biomedical sector and has key role in the development of the Eastern region's biotechnology community.

Cambridge Theranostics was founded in 2002 to commercialize intellectual property relating to lipid oxidation from its founder, Dr Ivan Petyaev. The Company successfully developed Ateronon®/™; the first clinically proven product able to inhibit plasma lipoprotein oxidation. THe active ingredient is a natural product and is licensed to Cambridge Theranostics exclusively by Nestlé.
Cambridge Theranostics recently successfully completed a pre-IPO private placement managed by Charles Stanley Securities, a London stockbroker. The Company focuses on development of its intellectual property and the clinical validation of its products. It has a global network of partners for product manufacture, distribution and marketing.

MedCell was formed in September 2002 as a spin-out from the Institute for Orthopaedics and Musculoskeletal Science (IOMS) and the Royal Veterinary College (RVC) to develop technology for the treatment of tendon and ligament injuries using adult stem cells.
In June 2008 MedCell merged with NovaThera to create a company with the breadth of technologies to become a key player in the regenerative medicine market.
