UK Trade & Investment (UKTI) is the government organisation that provides integrated support services for UK companies wishing to trade overseas and foreign businesses looking at the UK as an inward investment location.

In the East of England, UK Trade & Investment services are delivered through teams of international trade advisers based with East of England International in each county. They provide information and practical support both to businesses wishing to export for the first time, and experienced exporters looking to boost their trade overseas.

The advisers have a wealth of exporting, trading and business experience to offer companies in the region in addition to providing access to a vast network of contacts including UK Trade & Investment representatives in British Embassies, Consulates and High Commissions worldwide.

Of the 26 International Trade Advisers, 8 are sector specialists with expertise in Agriculture-Food; Aerospace & Airports; Automotive; Creative & Media to Environment;  Healthcare; Biotechnology & Pharmaceuticals; ICT and Life Sciences. The advisers are available to businesses across the region that requires help with international trade in these specific industries.

Heading the team in the East of England is International Trade Director, Vic Annells.
