Cambridge Business Lecture - Speaker: Louise Makin

At the next in the series of free Cambridge Business Lectures, Louise Makin will talk about leading teams in challenging times.

Start date/time:  6pm 4 March 2009
End date/time:  7pm 4 March 2009
Venue:  Robinson College, Grange Road, Cambridge
Alternative Text for image (if uploaded):  Louise Makin

Louise will talk about how, as CEO of BTG plc, she turned around a sprawling, stodgy, public sector organisation into a focussed pharmaceutical business, in the face of extreme cultural inertia. She led the winning team of the 2008 Three Peaks Yacht race and will draw fascinating parallels between winning this prestigious race after only three attempts and turning around a business. Louise will also talk about her experience of acquiring Protherics plc in the middle of the credit crunch.

Louise will be speaking at 6pm on March 4th at Robinson College. The event is free, but you need to register your interest by following this link.

There will be free beer, wine and soft drinks.
