Café Networking at the Michaelhouse - 'Jobs'

Networking is one of the best ways to find a new job or to meet the right people to fill your vacancies - so join in our informal Café Networking formula and meet your peers, as well as people with tips and insight into the jobs market in our region.

During the evening there will be 'soapbox' presentations from Cambridge Network member organisations including ECM Selection; Cambridge Network's team will be on hand to help with introductions to your fellow attendees; and our CEO, Matt Schofield, will be there to give you some useful tips on the most effective ways of networking (he's an expert!).

The café networking format is very user friendly, especially for anybody new to the Cambridge Network scene:
· the evening starts at 6.30pm and finishes around 9pm
· just drop in, drop out, no need to worry about coming late or having to leave early
· the talk bit is kept short, with the speaker sessions taking place at intervals during the evening. Our speakers will also be around to answer any queries.
· drinks and a great buffet on us!

Besides all this you'll have the opportunity to either do your own networking to pick up information and contacts, or to just chill and enjoy the atmosphere and maybe make new friends. The Michaelhouse Café (pictured) is a terrific venue in which to do this, and we're delighted to be able to use it for our Café Networking events. The event is free to all University, Individual and Corporate Members - remember all staff from member companies can attend (if you're not sure if your company is a Corporate Member just check our Directory).
