Representatives from just about as many different career strands as you can imagine will be on hand to offer help and advice, and the event is set to break all records as it builds in popularity.

The Cambridge Corn Exchange provides the venue, and the event runs from 10.00am to 5.30pm on Wednesday January 20th.

A large number of young people are expected to attend, as the occasion provides them with a strong concentration of career and education providers, all under one convenient roof.

Jobfair organiser Matt Drummond said: “With the current economic climate as it is nationally, it is encouraging that there are a number of current local employment and training opportunities available in a variety of areas.


“The Evening News Jobfair is one of the best events in the local area to get information and advice on a wide spectrum of different career prospects and further education options.


“We currently have a range of exhibitors who will be able to offer advice, ranging from the armed forces, the local councils as well as recruitment consultants and training providers, all on hand to assist with questions job seekers or students may have."
