155 films, 11 days, 8 locations . . .

This week sees the launch of the 35th Cambridge Film Festival, a major cultural event committed to delivering the very best in independent international cinema. Organised by registered charity Cambridge Film Trust, the festival has run for over 3 decades and is as a true celebration of film – past, present and future.

Along with the excitement of the festival comes a brand new website created by Cambridge-based digital marketing agency Studio 24, the major sponsor of this event.

Filmgoers can now search the 150+ film options by genre, venue, or date, and book easily whilst on the move via the fully responsive website. This is also one of the first sites to be built in Drupal 8 - the latest release of world’s leading open source web content management system (CMS).

The partnership between Cambridge Film Trust and Studio 24 had been going strong since 2006. The Trust’s Marketing Manager Owen Baker is delighted with the site, commenting how it’s been great working with the Studio 24 team once again.

Jemma Crane, Marketing Manager at Studio 24, credited the team for the fantastic new website and stated “it’s great to launch this year’s festival with a brand new site - positioning the event, where it belongs, as one of best in the UK.”
