Paul was Chairman of the British In Vitro Diagnostics Association from 2003 to 2006, and is also a founding member of the Diagnostics Advisory Committee recently formed by the UK National Institute of Clinical Excellence (NICE). “I am delighted to welcome Paul to Lumora” said Dr. Laurence Tisi, CEO, “His extensive molecular diagnostic and Business Development experience will prove invaluable in establishing and implementing Lumora’s commercial strategy. “ Lumora is developing a new generation of molecular diagnostics, initially based on its proprietary Bioluminescent Assay in Real-Time (BART) technology, that are fast, easy-to-use and affordable. BART is a novel reporter system, exclusive to Lumora, designed to be used with isothermal nucleic acid amplification technologies. The simplicity of BART Lumora was founded in 2002 by Laurence Tisi and Jim Murray, when it was spun-out from the Institute of Biotechnology at the University of Cambridge. Following two funding rounds, Lumora is seeking partners to bring its core technology to market across multiple sectors. ******* Contact: Shirley Jamieson
