cofinitive shortlisted for third time running for ‘Best Use of Content’ in the CIPR PRide awards

cofinitive has been shortlisted for the ‘Best Use of Content’ award in the CIPR PRide Awards, for an integrated and intensive eight-month PR campaign for client Iceni Glycoscience.

We're on the shortlist

The CIPR PRide awards shine the spotlight on the best PR teams and campaigns in nine of the UK’s regions. The ‘Best Use of Content’ award recognises the most original and effective use of content in a successful public relations campaign or project.

Iceni was out to conquer and cofinitive positioned them at the forefront of next-gen diagnostics and therapeutics for a post-pandemic world, and central to the pioneering glycoscience movement. The integrated PR and communications strategy included a name change and rebrand from Iceni Diagnostics (as they were) to the all-encompassing Iceni Glycoscience – saying exactly what they do and what their USP is. cofinitive played on the ‘warrior’ Iceni name with the driving tagline ‘Spearheading the Glycorevolution’ – reflecting mission, purpose and focus and asserting leadership qualities.

Iceni Glycoscience content coverage was achieved in national press as well as many different specialist media (Medtech, Pharma, Investment), bringing real vibrancy with these industry-specific alternatives. The content developed also secured a successful disruptor award win, and dramatic increases in social media metrics.

cofinitive Founder and Director, Faye Holland celebrated the announcement, saying “On the back of being listed one of the most exciting emerging PR agencies for technology in our region, it is again credit to the team to be shortlisted for this award again having previously won ‘Best Use of Content’ for our work with Kao Data and SmithsonHill. The way we work is by creating content with a specific purpose, ensuring that it reaches the right people at the right time. Being recognised by a panel of industry peers for continuing to elevate exciting tech start-ups is independent recognition of the teams’ brilliant work each and every day.”

The award winners will be announced at the CIPR Anglia, Thames and Chiltern Virtual Pride Awards Ceremony on Tuesday 11 October 2022.
