Explore Independent Cambridge: Cambridge Art Fair

With the help of Independent Cambridge - the definitive guide to ‘real’ Cambridge - Cambridge Network continues its weekly exploration of the best independent shops, cafés, restaurants, venues and events in Cambridge and the surrounding area. This week: Cambridge Art Fair, which takes place at The Guildhall from Friday 30th September.

.

Launched in 2013, Cambridge Art Fair has quickly become an established part of the international art fairs calendar. Every year a very impressive selection of art galleries and dealers participate, each showcasing an incredible variety of high quality work from their portfolios of artists from the UK and around the world.

Whatever you are looking for, it’s highly likely that the combined knowledge and experience of the many galleries and dealers exhibiting at the Fair, will make sure that you find that perfect piece of art.

Perhaps you need to source a large, contemporary sculpture for your office reception; a series of classic modern art prints for your conference room or perhaps your personal art search is for a beautiful landscape painting for your home? Whatever you seek, the Cambridge Art Fair is just the perfect opportunity to take advantage of the expert guidance and advice that’s available throughout the three day event.

Cambridge Art Fair is also one of the only fairs outside of London that offers highly collectable work from the 20th century – including modern masters such as Picasso, Chagall and Dali, alongside contemporary work by some of today’s leading international artists, at a great range of prices. Many of the exhibitors offer leasing packages for businesses and many more participate in the Arts Council’s Own Art scheme, so you can pay for the art you have fallen in love with by instalments – and interest free.

The Cambridge Art Fair 2016 takes place next week at The Guildhall, Market Square, Cambridge.
