Kinneir Dufort celebrates Cambridge launch

On the hottest evening in July on record, the Kinneir Dufort team and over 70 invited guests from the international medical arena came together to celebrate the launch of the Kinneir Dufort Medical Device Design Centre of Excellence, Cambridge.

In the beautifully landscaped and shaded grounds of Fitzwilliam College, Kinneir Dufort welcomed a diverse and engaging crowd from Cambridge and beyond to raise a glass to toast the future of this new venture.  The Medical Device Design Centre of Excellence is a hub in Cambridge, dedicated to the continued growth and expansion of the award winning work done by Kinneir Dufort in the medical field.

The evening, organised by Cambridge Network, was made even more memorable by a thought-provoking and passionate presentation on Regenerative Medicine given by Mr Andy Goldberg OBE.   Andy Goldberg, Honorary Consultant Surgeon with the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital was selected to talk at the inaugural event as his passion for innovation and his understanding for a more user centric medical design ethos echoes that of Kinneir Dufort.

In the long evening shadows cast by Charles Darwin’s former house, guests enjoyed ice cold drinks and canapés while the debate of Cambridge and the future of medical device design in the city rumbled on.

Kinneir Dufort would like to thank all that attended and the Cambridge Network: "We look forward to inviting you all again to our next event.  If you wish to speak to anyone at the Medical Device Design Centre of Excellence, then please do contact Tony Bedford."
