Deborah Griffin has been appointed Chair following the retirement of Jennifer Brook. A trained accountant, Deborah is Bursar at Homerton College and before taking up the post in 2012, acquired a wealth of experience in finance and the hospitality industry. She has been a member of the Board since December 2013.

New to the Board is Victoria Espley, Bursar of Hughes Hall who is a graduate in Accountancy and Law and has many years’ experience as a senior manager in the financial services industry.

Kelly Vickers, Director of Meet Cambridge said: “We are delighted to welcome Deborah as our new Chair and Victoria as a new Board member at this exciting time in our history. Meet Cambridge was officially launched last November, with a wider remit to provide additional services and to represent venues both in Cambridge and beyond. We are looking forward to benefiting from Deborah and Victoria’s own expertise and experience as we roll out our new strategy.

“I would also like to pay tribute to Jennifer Brook who has been our Chair for the last four and a half years. Her commitment and support have been much appreciated and played an important part in the transformation from Conference Cambridge to our wider role as Meet Cambridge.”
