Devices for healthy living: Will consumer or medical device companies dominate?

Peter Luebcke, CEO Sonovia Ageing populations are increasingly concerned about their health. People want to eat and exercise well to live better - and they need more useable devices. Bio-monitoring, real-time feedback and improved information are required to help consumers select dietary, beauty, fitness and other options.  Big brand pharmaceutical companies may want to dominate this market, but consumer products manufacturers can see the opportunities. What exactly do consumers want in the health and vitality arena, and who is best placed to deliver it?

This is the question being asked at the next Cambridge Network Consumer Products and Supply special interest group meeting on Thursday October 14th (6-9pm) at The Trinity Centre, Cambridge Science Park.  Speakers include Peter Luebcke, CEO Sonovia (pictured), plus others from Procter & Gamble, Cambridge Consultants and HealthUnlocked.
