On Sunday 30 November a wonderful array of writers head to Cambridge for a one day literary extravaganza. Taking place in the historic and atmospheric Cambridge Union where you will find mulled wine, champagne and mince pies plus the festival pop-up bookstall where you can buy the perfect personalised Christmas gift - a signed copy of a book. The Christmas lights are on, the ice rink is open, and the mince pies are out in full-force…so head to Cambridge next weekend for some festive fun.

Cambridge is magical at this time of year with a host of independent shops, market stalls and winter activities which transform the town into a winter wonderland. Take a stroll through the streets of Cambridge and enjoy the Christmas Lights. To add some seasonal sparkle to your weekend, visit the Christmas Market in Market Square or pop by the All Saint’s Craft Market for a fine selection of hand-made gifts, local goods and seasonal stocking fillers. Get your skates on and enjoy some traditional winter ice-skating on Parker’s Piece open-air ice-rink, with fun-rides, entertainment and pop-up food stalls to re-fuel you with some warming winter snacks. In the evening, pop into one of the local pubs for some mulled-wine or local ale.
