Silk Pearce celebrates its 30th anniversary

Design consultancy Silk Pearce is celebrating 30 years of designing distinctive branding, websites and other promotional materials for a wide range of national and international businesses. The consultancy’s Eastern region clients include: Cambridge Cognition, Tristel, CB1 Cambridge, Brookgate, Aldeburgh Music and Norfolk & Norwich Festival.

The picture shows joint creative heads Peter Silk (on the left) and Jack Pearce, who founded Silk Pearce in 1984, at one of the events they are hosting to mark this landmark anniversary.

Peter and Jack first worked together at paper merchants Wiggins Teape before taking consultancy roles and then setting up their own consultancy.  During their 30 year journey, the creative duo and their team of designers have helped to launch, develop and reposition multiple businesses.  The consultancy is known for its integrated design approach and has built probably some of the industry’s most enduring client-consultancy partnerships.  Several clients have worked consistently with Silk Pearce for 20 years or more, others almost from day one.

As well as their day to day output for B2B and consumer clients, Silk Pearce has been called upon to design a huge spectrum of items during their 30 years in business.  Products as diverse as stamps, films, books, stage props and even the textures and colours of paper ranges.

The consultancy rebranded last year to more accurately reflect its market profile as a strategic multi-faceted agency with a focus on branding, websites and graphics.
