They include Helen Tucker (pictured left) who joins Stone King as a partner in the firm’s independent schools team. She was previously head of the education sector division at Ashfords solicitors and head of legal for The Girls’ Day School Trust.

Helen advises independent schools on a range of issues including strategic review papers for trustees, complex safeguarding and child protection cases, educational negligence claims and allegations of discrimination.

Also joining the education team is Danielle Hainsby (right) who qualified as a solicitor in 2014, having trained with the law firm Greenwoods. Before joining Stone King, Danielle took up a lecturing post with professional education provider BPP where she taught on the legal practice course.

Danielle’s education work for Stone King ranges from advice on setting up academies to day-to-day operational issues. She will also assist education clients with matters relating to information law.

Stone King’s education team also welcomes trainee solicitors John Shaw and Deborah Camp.

John previously worked as a paralegal in the litigation department of a boutique private practice firm.  He will work on all forms of academy set-up and development and provide advice on governance and commercial law to the firm’s education clients.

Prior to joining Stone King, Deborah was a paralegal in the family team at legal firm Simpson Millar. Other new faces joining Stone King’s education division include paralegals Emily Clarke and Betül Guzel who joins from Linklaters.

Roger Inman, Head of Stone King’s Education Group, said: ‘We are delighted to welcome Helen, Danielle, John, Deborah and Emily and Betül to our growing education team.

“Their arrival follows the publication of the influential 2016 Legal 500 directory which once again puts us in the top tier for our specialist work with schools both regionally and nationally.”
