Statistical Programmer, ECD

Our Clinical Trial Science Group within Early Clinical Development, is focussed on delivering innovation and seeking out opportunity. As a Statistical Programmer based in our Cambridge Science hub, you will be part of a dynamic group which encourages Programmers to get involved in developing multiple activities and initiatives, as well as shaping its culture and contributing towards continuous improvement in solutions delivery.

We are looking for talented Programmers who are passionate and innovative, with clinical programming experience, that are solution seeking, and focused on delivering high quality outcomes.  As such, you will work on gathering, exploring, and presenting accumulated data, to support decision making in early phase clinical trials.  You will use your experience to identify opportunities to improve methodology and drive best practice in statistical programming, and have responsibility for the delivery of the technical components required to support analysis and reporting.  Core to the role, you will provide input into technical database standards and programming specification documents, whilst providing input to the quality of all deliverables, holding our partners and providers accountable for the quality of their deliverables.

 

Requirements

To be considered for this role, it is expected that you are able to meet the following requirements;

  • BSc or post graduate qualification (or local equivalent) in Mathematics, Statistics, Informatics, Life or Social Sciences
  • SAS programming in a pharmaceutical environment
  • Awareness of CDISC standards
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • A collaborative mind-set
  • The ability to proactively drive innovations
