How to sign-up as a member

New members

To join the Cambridge Network, simply follow this simple three step process (you will need a credit card if you are applying as an individual or for an organisation with less than 50 staff):

1. Click the Apply for membership tab

2.Select the membership type - corporate (dependent upon company size), charity organisation, or individual and follow the appropriate highlighted link

3. Enter your payment details and provide your email address. A password and an electronic invoice will be sent to you;

You are now a member of the Cambridge Network!

4. Come back to the site and enter your user name and password - you can change the password to something more memorable at this stage

5. Complete the membership application form - this will then form the basis of your profile in the directory section of the site

If you think your company is already a member ...

1. Proceed to the next page (Apply for membership). Under 'membership for organisations' you will see the heading 'Is your organisation already a member?'

2. Enter your company or organisation name in the search box - for example Deloitte or University of Cambridge*- and, if your organisation is a corporate member, the system will acknowledge this status

3. You'll be asked to enter a user name (your email address), a password and brief details

4. The user interface on this page invites you to set up your personal preferences, enabling you to receive Cambridge Network's weekly e-newsletter and jobsletter or other information about the types of event/ activity which interest you

5. Subject to confirmation from the person in your company who adminsters the Cambridge Network membership** (who will declare you are a bona fide member of staff), you can then use your login to access Cambridge Network's user interface and add a personal profile and CV if you wish.  In addition, when registration opens for CN events (like Open Meetings and Café Networking), you can sign up to attend quickly using the same login details.

*Free membership is available to academics and students of member universities such as University of Cambridge, Anglia Ruskin University and University of East Anglia

company profile and add news, events and job items to the site.
