Are you working for a Corporate Psychopath? Would you know if you were? Prof Clive Boddy, author of ‘Corporate Psychopaths; Organisational Destroyers’ will be giving Cambridge Network’s February business lecture to help us to understand the far-reaching effects of corporate psychopathy.
The parallel between criminal and corporate psychopaths is startling – from a lack of empathy with others to single-minded ambition and lack of remorse for their actions. Often charming and well educated this talk will highlight the effect a corporate psychopath’s behaviour can have on individuals, groups and the performance of the organisation as a whole.
About Prof Clive Boddy
Clive is Professor of Leadership and Organisation Behaviour at Middlesex University where he was previously a Professor of Marketing. Prior to academia Clive ran research companies in Taiwan, Hong Kong and South Korea in the 1980’s and 90’s. This entailed running what were at the time, more or less the world’s fastest growing research companies, and then co-founding a multi-national marketing research company in the Asia-Pacific region. His current research is related to workplace ethics, fairness and outcomes under psychopathic leadership.
