Join neuroscientist and globally recognized brain-based leadership expert Dan Radecki PhD from the Academy of Brain-based Leadership as he explores Psychological Safety - what it is, why it is important, and a practical approach to building it in ourselves and others.

Drawing on the latest neuroscience and industry research, we take an in-depth look at the key nonconscious motivational drivers that guide our behaviours and influence our sense of psychological safety. With a greater understanding into our actions, emotions and biases we are able increase our self-awareness and enhance our understanding of others; appreciating what may be driving their behaviours and needs and knowing how to manage and nurture their psychological safety.

Through models, frameworks and tools the session introduces a common understanding and language to facilitate self-awareness about:

  • our brain and its limitations
  • the importance of psychological safety for personal and team health and performance
  • the nonconscious drivers of behaviour
  • the practical strategies to overcome our biases, triggers and stressors
  • building emotional intelligence to enhance relationships, communication and collaboration.
