The office can be a stressful place, particularly when you’re surrounded by a huge variety of personalities, some of whom may be challenging, require managing or with whom you might need to have difficult conversations. This mini workshop session will provide an introduction to dealing with emotions at work, help you to identify possible underlying factors and enable you to cope better at work and at home.
Many of us do not have or take the time to look at our emotions or to understand what drives our thoughts and actions. Our speaker, Carole Douillot, would like to offer you the opportunity to do just that and take a look at some emotions and how they might manifest in your personal and working life. Recognising emotions and what they might mean enables us to look at what is either working or not working for us, or where we might need to dig deeper to identify what is driving our emotions and make changes to restore our well-being and our performance.
By the end of this bite-sized session, you will understand why focusing on your strengths and recognising your emotions will help you strive, flourish and perform better in the workplace and at home.
Carole is a transformational life coach who believes in coaching the whole person. Carole’s passion for psychology and young people led her to life coaching after years of teaching and being a progress coach. Carole supports individuals to understand and discover what motivates them at whatever stage. She believes coaching enables individuals to realise what really matters in life, increases their self-awareness and self-compassion which in turn improves their overall happiness.
