In our fourth webinar we’re visiting the world of personal finance. The significant worsening of the coronavirus situation and new wide-reaching government advice has seen global stock markets fall further this week. Understandably it has left many people uncertain as to what to do with their pensions, stocks & shares ISAs and other investments.
It is human nature to be concerned when markets fall, even temporarily, especially when you are seeing the value of your hard-earned pension, stocks & shares ISA or Unit Trust reduce in value. When some people see the value of their plans falling, they may consider taking money out of funds and reinvesting this later – to try and time the market.
So, what should you be doing now, if anything?
This webinar will be useful for anyone wanting to understand how to best manage their investments at this time. The session will be led by Ben Sear, Managing Director of Independent Financial Advisers, Martin-Redman Partners who will introduce the topic and will then answer some of your questions. Ben is a regular contributor to the Jeremy Sallis Money Show on BBC Radio Cambridgeshire.
The session will take place at 12.15pm - 1pm on Thursday 2nd April. Please sign up to take part! Participants will be sent a link to join via Zoom prior to the start time.
Please do send your questions in advance so Ben can address them in the session, by email to louise.rushworth@cambridgenetwork.co.uk
