What next for quantum computing? (a Cambridge Network event)
|Date||3 November 2020|
|Times||3pm - 4pm|
|Cost||Free for Members | £50+VAT for Non-Members|
In this interactive event our panel will share perspectives on the UK quantum computing ecosystem and its attraction for investors. We’ll hear from a couple of leading start-ups, sharing their experiences in this new sector and where they see the sector heading. Just last month (September) the UK’s National Quantum Computing Centre (NQCC) was launched to place the UK at the forefront of this transformative new technology. How will quantum computing make its way into the marketplace?
This session will be chaired by Adrian Toutoungi, Partner at Taylor Wessing, who will share insights into the quantum computing patent landscape. Our panellists will be:
- Dr Leonie Mueck, Chief Product Officer, Riverlane
- Dr Ilana Wisby, CEO, Oxford Quantum Circuits
- Amelia Armour, Partner, Amadeus Capital Partners
- Roger McKinlay, Challenge Director, UKRI
Attend this talk to learn more about quantum computing in the UK through a discussion with quantum hardware and software companies and from private and public funding perspectives.
You are invited to pose a question to the panel – please submit on the registration form or by email to firstname.lastname@example.org in advance.
