Communicating effectively in organisation change [Webinar]

This session will consider insights and ideas for engagement and communication as we move into another phase of change and transition in our working lives.  It will also reflect on what’s been learned from the pandemic in terms of ways of working and communicating change.

This is particularly relevant as organisations move forward with hybrid working arrangements, with many looking to bring teams back into workplaces in one form or another or introducing different ways of working.

This session offers an opportunity to explore this topic from several different angles – with suggestions as follows:

• Returning to workplaces or changes to our ways of working as another organisation change – our personal responses to change and how this might show up in a work context
• What we’ve learned from the pandemic in large-scale change – particularly around communicating and engaging with teams
• Wellbeing and resilience and why it matters
• The risks of not getting engagement and communications around this, right
• Communicating messages in organisational change – thoughts and pointers

This would be an informal event, with the opportunity for interaction throughout and discussion for 10-15 minutes at the end of the session.

Speaker: Jo Twiselton, Twist Consultants, Change specialist and leadership coach

Jo has spent almost 20 years advising and coaching leaders and managers, particularly those in engineering, technology and projects, who are under pressure to deliver change successfully and sustainably. 

Jo focuses on building a positive experience of change and transition for people at individual and team levels. She believes that change is a great opportunity for leaders and managers to learn, develop and grow with the aim to build better organisations in the long-term.  At the same time, it’s about keeping people risk to a minimum and supporting resilience and wellbeing in change.

Jo holds a Level 7 Diploma in Executive Coaching and Mentoring from the Institute of Leadership and Management (ILM), is an accredited practitioner in the WRAW (Wellbeing and Resilience at Work) psychometric, has achieved the Wellbeing Coaching programme endorsed by the ILM and is a Mental Health First Aider.
