Following a degree in biochemistry, David gained extensive experience within the food chemistry, cell and molecular biology industry as well as project management and property refurbishment.

David is a Member of various institutes such as the Institute of Biology, Chartered Biologist, IOSH (corporate member) and gaining recognition on the IOSH Register of Safety Practitioners.

Having worked with safety since the introduction of the COSHH regulations in 1988 David has a particular specialism in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and scientific environment.

Previously a principal inspector with the Health and Safety Executive, Richards area of expertise is inspecting manufacturing, utility and service industries across Great Britain.

He was Elected Fellow of IOSH (FIOSH) in 2005 and was awarded IOSH President's ‘Distinguished Service Certificate for Services to Health and Safety’ in 2013.

Has gained varied experience across a range of service and manufacturing industries. Laura started her career as a Safety administrator working her way up to Group HSE Advisor, now for one of the largest Renewables service contractors in East Anglia. 

Her strengths lie in helping businesses meet, maintain, and improve their regulatory compliance - providing them with the tools, processes and required information to achieve best practice for their business area. Believing that Safety and compliance does not need to be over complicated, just effective.
