The min max cities group has been set up to enquire into the contemporary condition of the city, and to probe the ideas and issues, inspirations and interventions that will influence the metropolitan future.
The group will host the conference Minimum…. or Maximum Cities? (November 26, Department of Architecture) as a means to explore some of the important issues of the day from the roots of the anxious city to future for transport systems, and from the potential for new energy systems to the urban forms that can maximise the benefits for social networks.
A website and accompanying blog operate as a resource for bringing together writing, research, policy and commentary covering all the relevant architectural and urban issues.
