A strategic partnership aiming to improve patient care, patient outcomes and population health through innovation and the integration of service delivery, health research and clinical education.

Cambridge University Health Partners is one of only five Academic Health Science Centres in England recognised by the Department of Health as internationally competitive centres of excellence in the integrated delivery of health care, health research and the education of health professionals.
The NHS organisations in the partnership are those that work most closely with the University in performing research and education and that involve academic doctors in the delivery of their services: Cambridge and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust, Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Papworth Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
CUHP is a not-for-profit Company Limited by Guarantee, the members of which are the University of Cambridge, Cambridge and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust, Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, Papworth Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.
The objectives of CUHP are the achievement of excellence in health care, research and education for public benefit.
The Board of Directors is drawn from the member organisations so as to balance the interests of the University and the NHS Foundation Trusts in the governance of CUHP.
CUHP also works with other organisations to achieve its objectives. These wider relationships will be sustained through forums for Campus Associates and Regional Associates.
The reigning Miss England 2014, Carina Tyrrell, completed the ‘Ice Bucket Challenge’ at Addenbrooke's Hospital today to raise awareness of motor neurone disease.
