Cambridge University Technology and Enterprise Club (CUTEC)
Cambridge University Technology and Enterprise Club (CUTEC) is a platform, which organises events where business-minded entrepreneurs, scientists, academia and students can interact with industry professionals and early-stage investment communities.
Throughout the year to establish its global influence, CUTEC organises a series of events such as regular workshops and surgeries as well as open innovation events developed under the umbrella of ideas@CUTEC. These events lead to our annual flagship event in June: the Technology Ventures Conference (TVC) – one of the world’s largest student-run entrepreneurial events.
Since its inception in 2003, CUTEC has grown considerably, with over 4000 members worldwide.
We are a company-like organisation with an Executive Committee overseeing 5 teams all managed by their respective Vice Presidents:
- Business Operations
- External relations
Technology Ventures Conference (TVC)
CUTEC has organised the TVC since the club’s inception in 2003 with the aim to expose the Cambridge Cluster to the wider business and fundraising communities. The TVC has developed into one of the world’s largest student-run entrepreneurial events, culminating in attendance of more than 400 delegates from across the world in 2011. The conference attracts high profile venture capitalists, angel investors, entrepreneurs, and academics.
