GB Innomech Limited

GB Innomech helps manufacturers, particularly in the pharmaceutical, medical device or environmental sectors, to automate all or part of their production lines. We help drive up quality and take manufacturing efficiencies to new levels, whilst reducing costs and reducing Time to Market.

We are able to offer a number of technologies including:

  • precision handling and placing;
  • laser;
  • precision gluing;
  • precision welding;
  • multi-axis servo systems;
  • design of intelligent control systems;
  • vision and inspection technologies

A thorough knowledge of these technologies enables us to automate even the most complex, highly labour intensive manufacturing, inspection or testing processes. A niche expertise, valued by some of our customers, is in the area of powder filling.

In addition to developing and supplying breakthrough performance systems, we can offer a complete end to end manufacturing service.  Early stages within a project may involve Feasibility Studies and Design Studies; these may lead on to the full Manufacture, Validation, Installation and Service Support of equipment throughout the world.

Our systems are used by most of the world’s leading pharmaceutical companies, as well as many biotech and contract manufacturers. Our work is undertaken within an ISO 9001:2008 environment and our processes are based upon GxP practice.

The company was founded in 1990 and is based to the north of Cambridge in an award-winning, environmentally-friendly building. In 2009 we were awarded the Queen's Award for Enterprise in the International Trade category.

Bespoke automation for the lab, process development and manufacturing

We have the expertise and experience to analyse, design and
implement an industrial automation or laboratory automation solution.
We do this across all industry sectors, using diverse technologies, including vision systems, robotics and accurate product placement systems for a range of clients.
