Suitable for teachers, teaching assistants, family support workers, youth workers, nurses or healthcare professionals who are working with young children who are facing loss or bereavement.
This training covers:
- Children’s understanding of and responses to loss and bereavement
- Models of loss and grief
- Other losses e.g. divorce, separation etc.
- Talking to children about loss
- What teachers, schools, carers, and healthcare professionals can do to help children facing loss or bereavement
- Resources available to help.

Car parking is available at the adjacent Babraham Road Park and Ride. There is onsite car parking for those with mobility issues.
The Education Centre at the hospice is fully accessible for wheelchair users and those with disabilities. The Centre is on the first floor accessible by a lift.
