GP Saturdays Study Session: Complex Dying in Palliative Care
These Saturday study sessions will provide expert clinical information from specialists working in Palliative Medicine. They will focus on essential information, guidance and practical tips to help you improve your skills and confidence in delivering Palliative Care to your patients.

This education seminar will commence with networking over a hot buffet breakfast.
The Study Day is aimed at:
GP’s with an interest in the provision of palliative care for their patients.
This Study Day will cover:
- Medical management of complex dying – including delirium, emergencies, prescribing in organ failure, deprescribing
- Complex ethical decisions – including with-holding and with-drawing treatment, nutrition and hydration, CPR, non-invasive ventilation
