This is an introductory course aimed at complete beginners, outlining the basics of inductively coupled plasma - optical emission spectroscopy (ICP-OES) & mass spectrometry (ICP-MS).
The course will cover the definitions of the techniques and provide an overview of the instrumentation used.
You will learn about the industries that use ICP and the different applications of the technique, along with the different sampling techniques available and the purpose and principles of data analysis.
