Our three speakers will take you on a recruitment journey on how to attract, select and retain the right candidate in 2018. Sharing their individual expertise they will dissect real-life examples demonstrating the implementation of certain recruitment techniques. These include the do's and don'ts of a job description, the language in job adverts and what to look out for in an interview.
About the Speakers
Katherine Wiid, Recrion
Katherine is a specialist in how the language we use affects recruitment and retention. Using her approach to re-imagine job descriptions, interviews and staff management boosts her clients' recruitment and retention success from a typical 50% hit-rate to closer to 90%
Suzanne Smith, Belvoir HR
Suzanne is an independent HR consultant who has a common sense, commercial approach to HR. She believes that whilst employment legislation should be factored into the recruitment process, it should not be allowed to dominate the process.
Claire MacDonald, Johnson Matthey
Claire is a Principal Engineer working in the Clean Air Division of Johnson Matthey, managing a growing team of engineers. She is passionate about recruiting people for their potential and has hands on experience of turning around the way they recruit to increase diversity and retention.
