Start Codon and Cancer Research UK are launching a series of free, online seminars to support and develop an entrepreneurial culture among cancer researchers in the UK.
Bringing Your Product to Patients with Dr Michelle Griffin
The series is part of Start Codon and Cancer Research UK’s Entrepreneurial Training Scheme, which aims to promote the development of new business ventures within academia and encourage entrepreneurship. This three-part series is open to anyone working in oncology research, with any level of knowledge or experience in entrepreneurship. You do not need to have Cancer Research UK funding to join.
The seminars will be hosted on Microsoft Teams.

Dr Michelle Griffin, Clinical Innovator at TTP - The Technology Partnership. Following Michelle’s early career as a practising surgeon in Obstetrics and Gynaecology, she has spent time as a leader in several public and charity sector health organisations. Michelle has held positions as Service Lead in Data at Public Health England, Head of Research Strategy and Evaluation at Cancer Research UK, Clinical Fellow at WHO and Clinical Adviser at the Care Quality Commission. She has joined TTP to spearhead innovation efforts in medical device strategy and bring a genuine clinical perspective to everyday development.
