Cambridge Literary Festival - Winter Festival

From poetry to politics, fiction to finance, history to hip-hop and comedy to current affairs, Cambridge Literary Festival brings an eclectic mix of today’s best writers, thinkers and speakers to Cambridge all year round.

Established in 2003 as “Wordfest” before re-branding as Cambridge Literary Festival and becoming a registered charity in 2014, we deliver two literary festivals each year: our main Spring Festival in April and our weekend Winter Festival in November. In addition to two major annual festivals, we host one-off events to celebrate new publications with authors such as Zadie Smith or Colm Tóibín, or to host international authors visiting the UK such as Margaret Atwood, Svetlana Alexievich and David Miliband.
