Anglia Ruskin University (ARU) is celebrating 25 years of University status with a 40 mile ride starting at University Centre Peterborough (UCP) and finishing with festivities at ARU’s Cambridge Campus.

The fantastic journey through the scenic Cambridgeshire countryside will have two aims, the first is to fundraise for East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices (EACH). The second is to make it through the finish line!

This exciting one-off ride allows participants of all abilities to take part from the keen cyclists to the amateur enthusiasts. Cambridgeshire is the flattest county in the country, so where better to enjoy a lovely bank holiday Saturday bike ride!

Event patrons, the High Sheriff of Cambridgeshire Dr Andrew Harter CBE and Ms Lily Bacon DL will be participating on a tandem bicycle, as will a number of others.  Tandem riders will receive a special gift, but whether single or tandem, please join them in this unique celebration which is supporting such a worthy cause.

Fundraising & Support:

We are delighted to be supporting EACH and fundraising for this incredible local charity. EACH is a charitable organisation that provides specialist care to children in East Anglia living with life-threatening conditions and supports their families. Without EACH, families in Cambridgeshire who are going through the extremely challenging journey of losing a child, wouldn’t be able to access the specialist care and support they need to help them manage their child’s symptoms, prepare for their child’s end of life, and cope with the grief and bereavement that follows.

All of EACH’s care is provided free of charge, and they rely on voluntary donations from companies and individuals like you.

We encourage you all to be generous with fundraising; a recommended donation or sponsorship target of £50.00 per entry is suggested. Thank you for all you are able to do!
