Connections Through Covid - 3

This year has been like no other in Cambridge, with coronavirus disrupting so much of our lives and demanding response, action, and change.

Some problems appear more urgent. Things we take for granted seem more fragile. And many of us don’t want life to return to quite what it was. We want a more courageous, more sustainable, more equitable world.

Connections Through COVID is a series of conversations designed to help us help each other thrive in these challenging times.

Conversation 3. Being a Good Ancestor, with Dr Alison Wood

This conversation focuses on how our experience of Covid can refine our ambitions for a better future.

A pandemic situation can be a chance to think about questions Covid raises for our hopes and ambitions; what we are seeing in new ways; the things we want to keep from this experience; the changes we want to see and build here in Cambridge.

This session will prompt us to think both about what we want to learn and keep; and frame those considerations in the idea of ‘being a good ancestor’.
