In conjunction with CW, Crayfish.io are running an evening workshop where delegates can learn what is needed when looking for funding from China. This event is limited to the technology start-up community. To request a place, please complete the expression of interest form.
Crayfish Accelerator Workshop: Engaging with Chinese Investors - IoT & Semiconductor
China is increasingly becoming a source of investment for tech businesses especially in sectors that fit with China’s strategic goals, such as IoT and semiconductor technology. However, there are some distinct requirements from Chinese investors that Western entrepreneurs should be aware of and aim to address, if they would like to increase the likelihood of success of raising funding from the China. We will talk you through these and provide you practical tips to help you prepare your pitching deck. We will also help you distinguish among the potential investors so you can focus only on those who are likely to invest in you.
Following introductory talks by Crayfish and DBI, five start-ups will have the opportunity to pitch their businesses to investors. If you are interested in pitching at the workshop, please send your business plan (fewer than 10 pages) to firstname.lastname@example.org by Thursday February.
Crayfish Accelerator Workshops are specifically designed to look at a particular issue each time from a real-world perspective. Conducted by UK-China business experts, the workshops are highly practical, interactive and illuminating.
Attendance at this event is restricted to the technology start-up community. To manage this we are running an expression of interest. If you would like to attend, simply complete the expression of interest form and we will be in touch to confirm your place!
This event is free of charge for CW members and existing applicants of the Crayfish Accelerator Programme (if the latter, please email your programme contact at Crayfish for reservation).
