Event Description:
Join us for an informal overview of the latest cyber threats with the opportunity to get your cyber questions answered by the experts. Then get involved in a cyber incident and put your instincts, teamwork, and decision-making to the test. The Escape Room Challenge is an interactive escape-room experience hosted by The Cyber Resilience Centre. It is designed to show how real cyber-attacks unfold and how small human decisions can make all the difference. Working as a team, you’ll solve puzzles, uncover clues, and respond to evolving threats, all based on real-world cyber scenarios such as phishing, data breaches, and system compromise. Along the way, you’ll discover how attackers think, where organisations are most vulnerable, and what simple actions can dramatically reduce risk.
This isn’t about technical knowledge. it’s about awareness, collaboration, and thinking under pressure. You’ll leave with a deeper understanding of cyber risks, practical lessons you can apply immediately, and the confidence to recognise and respond to threats in the real world.
What to Expect:
- 3:00 PM – 3:30 PM: Arrival and sign-in.
- 3:30 PM – 4:30 PM: Cyber security overview with our experts, with time for your questions.
- 4:30 PM – 5:30 PM: The Escape Room Challenge – an immersive experience hosted by The Cyber Resilience Centre.
