Dogs in the Gogs: FutureYou Cambridge holds first Curcupet-K9 Dog Walk in support of Blue Cross

FutureYou Cambridge is inviting Cambridgeshire locals and dog-owning customers to join them for their inaugural Curcupet-K9 Dog Walk over the Gog Magog Hills.

The event will take place on Wednesday 28 August 2019 at 11.00am.  For every person who attends, FutureYou will make a donation to animal welfare charity Blue Cross to support their work on arthritis in dogs. The walk begins at ‘Fairfield’ dog friendly area at Magog Down, Haverhill Road, Stapleford CB22 5FX and FutureYou will serve complimentary refreshments to the walkers at The Gog Farm Shop at the end.

The doggy meet-up is being held to celebrate the successful 2019 launch of canine joint health supplement Curcupet-K9 by the Cambridge-based company, which creates its science-backed supplements on Regent Street. FutureYou formulated the new turmeric supplement after customers said they had experienced amazing results from feeding human joint health supplements to their pets.

‘Many of our customers started telling us that they were giving our human product, Turmeric+, to their pets after feeling the benefits for themselves – horses, cats, even a parrot in one case. However, the most common pet people shared it with was their dog,’ says Adam Cleevely, FutureYou’s CEO. ‘Their feedback was so positive that we created a special formulation. We know that dogs in the UK are living longer and, just like their owners, they need help to deal with issues we all experience with age.  Owners are in tune with their dogs and know what’s best for them.’

Curcupet-K9 combines curcumin, the active ingredient in turmeric, with lecithin to allow it to be absorbed more easily by the body. Studies have shown that the formulation is 30 times more absorbable than standard turmeric.
