Foresight Sustainability Week: A New Tipping Point: considering the global picture

As we near the UN Climate Change Conference (COP26), there is an urgent need for dialogue and collective action. To help tackle the core issues around achieving carbon neutrality, we have gathered some of the leading voices from business climate adaptation, agriculture and investment. This week is a unique digital series of live streamed breakfast debates; experts will discuss the challenges and opportunities that arise as the private sector mobilises behind the global sustainability agenda.

Lord Deben, Chairman of the Climate Change Committee, will begin the week by delivering the opening keynote addressing the global climate crisis.

Jeremy Leggett, Founder and Director of Solarcentury will join us to discuss what trends are set to shape the international sustainability agenda.

Key topics covered include:

  • Climate and carbon policy in focus
  • Localisation and protectionism vs collective global endeavour: rebuilding supply chains and resolving system vulnerabilities post-COVID
  • The role of businesses in delivering sustainable recovery strategies
