How should employee benefits change after lockdown? [Webinar]

As we begin to see the lockdown restrictions ease and consider how our businesses will function in the months ahead, it could be time to consider the impact on your employees’ wellbeing – mental, physical and financial - and how you can make sure your benefit provision is fit to support them in a post-lockdown world.

This talk by Graeme Howell, Employee Benefits Consultant at Mattioli Woods will look at how employers are adapting their approach beyond the “traditional” benefits packages as well as how technology can be used to facilitate their needs with many employees still working remotely.

It’s been a challenging time for employees: there are the pressures of working from home for many who have never done it before, which may be exacerbated with the challenges of co-ordinating/facilitating schooling for children. For some, who have only ever worked “on site” there may be feelings of being isolated or disconnected and struggling to mark the boundary between home and work. In addition, some households may find their finances impacted through furloughing and/or redundancy, and Physical wellbeing under pressure through suspension of normal sporting activity, or loss of motivation.

Many employers are now beginning to consider beyond the traditional benefits as to how they can support employees through wellbeing resources and access to support, as well as promoting wellness programmes via online communication tools. Financial education is becoming more important as families adjust to pressured household budgets, and with the increase in financial scams, it is a useful tool to help employees be more aware of the increasingly sophisticated methods being used to steal their money.

Hear from Mattioli Woods what you, as an employee or someone responsible for your staff, can do to help to keep your people thriving.
