Breakfast Networking: Increasing business effectiveness (a Cambridge Network event)
If you are a small business with a vision then this event should be of interest to you. The vision is just part of the story; this talk will give you some pointers on how to implement the vision across your business and the tools that can help you to do that effectively and efficiently.
|Dates||26 Jan 2017 - This event is in the past.|
|Opening times||8am - 10am|
|Venue||Hauser Forum, The Entrepreneurship Centre, 3 Charles Babbage Road, CB3 0GT|
|Organiser name||Andrea Mitchell|
Most business owners create a business they want to work for, but how do you embed that culture across the organisation to maximum benefit?
The talks will concentrate on some of the services available to help organisations realise their aspirations. The first talk, by Sam Dods of Koru Consult, will outline Organisational Development (OD) and highlight the three elements of vision, organisational design and how to embed the organisational culture across the organisation, and how the dynamics between each affect overall business performance.
The second talk will take you through some of the cost effective tools on the market today to help small businesses manage their internal processes and understand the implications for their business. Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems are now available for as little as £5/month and offer numerous advantages such as:
- improved productivity and reducing administration by automating processes
- improved data security with data backed up on remote servers, and
- improved quality of decisions by providing relevant up-to-date information
This event is a chance for business owners and anyone with a responsibility or interest in strategy for growth and future business success.
