Mental Health First Aid (MHFA England)

This online course will qualify you as a Mental Health First Aider. We give you a comprehensive understanding of mental health issues so that you can support others and increase awareness of your own mental health and well-being.

The sessions are delivered by Teresa Weston, a highly experienced trainer. Teresa has a relaxed and welcoming style of training and an empathetic approach to adult learners. She makes the sessions lively and engaging while being aware that some topics covered can be sensitive for some.

The course consists of 4 ‘live’ taught sessions delivered online plus some individual learning through the completion of some e-learning activities.  Achievement of the course qualifies you as a Mental Health First Aider. Every course delegate will receive:

  • A comprehensive manual to refer to whenever you need it
  • A quick reference card for the Mental Health First Aid action plan
  • A workbook including a helpful toolkit to support your own mental health

Delivery of the course takes place over a two-week period with time in between to complete the online learning activities.

This is an evening programme running over four evenings with individual online learning activities in between each session.  The 'live' online taught sessions will be held on the following dates:

4th, 5th, 18th, 19th February (18:00-21:00).  Attendance at all sessions plus completion of the online activities is compulsory to achieve certification.

Cost per delegate is £300 (inclusive)
