NHS Readiness: Funding and investment from start-up to scale-up


Funding is essential for healthtech companies to develop, successfully validate and commercialise a product in the NHS.

Learn from Eastern AHSN and investment experts from Cambridge and London on:

  • How to leverage grant based funding

  • Accessing angel funding, the benefits of crowdfunding and what later stage investors are looking for in a company

  • What business support is available for healthtech companies from Eastern AHSN and it's partners

 

Speakers on the day will include experts from the NHS, AHSN Network, National Institute for Health Research (NIHR), Local Enterprise Partnership and private investment experts. Our keynote speaker is Pam Garside, Fellow of the University of Cambridge Judge Business School who will advise how to access early stage funding and what investors are looking for in early stage companies.

In addition to the main presentations, we are offering one-to-one bespoke surgery slots.

These surgeries run for approx 35 minutes, and are provided by healthcare business mentors. Spaces are limited and slots need to be booked in advance. If you wish to be considered for a one-to-one bespoke surgery, please ensure that your application is received no later than Monday 7 October.

Please note that your request for a one-to-one surgery does not guarantee you a slot. We will write to successful applicants to advise if a place has been confirmed by Friday 11 October.
