Women and the Executive MBA: How humour can make you a better leader

Why is humour such a valuable leadership tool? Can this powerful, underused asset have a transformational effect on company culture and help employees work better together? Join for a keynote speech on the power of humour in leadership and a panel of Cambridge Executive MBA alumni exploring the power of formal business education for executives.

At this year’s Women and the Executive MBA event Dr Vanessa Marcié (EMBA 2016), Founder of Leading With Humour, will explore these questions in a keynote speech filled with actionable advice that will help leaders get the most out of themselves, their teams, and their organisations.

Each year, the Women and the Executive MBA event is an opportunity for professional women to meet, network and explore the opportunities an Executive MBA can offer to help them advance their careers. This year, to ensure as many people are able to join us as possible, we are hosting the event online.

After Dr Marcie’s speech, a panel of Cambridge EMBA alumni, all inspirational business leaders from different industries, will discuss how they manage challenges and overcome barriers within leadership. You will hear how a formal business education helped them strengthen their cross-functional skillsets, grow their networks and achieve professional and personal goals.

This free event is open to women and men from all backgrounds.

Before the event starts, you can book a one-to-one conversation with a member of the Executive MBA Admissions Team. This is an opportunity to discuss your interest in and eligibility for the Executive MBA programme, and ask any questions you have. You can book a slot when you register.
