Most people are already using AI at work, often without any guidance on what is safe to share or how to check what comes back. Cambridge company Capytech has built the Capytech AI Academy to fix that, and is offering free access to the first few organisations in the Cambridge and Peterborough area that get in touch.
What you get
Your team starts with the AI Licence: around an hour of short 5 to 10 minute lessons on using AI safely at work. It covers what information you can and cannot put into AI tools, using approved tools rather than personal accounts, checking what AI tells you before relying on it, personal data and UK GDPR, and how to spot AI-powered scams such as deepfakes and voice clones.
They then move on to Explorer, which covers the everyday basics: what AI is and is not, the tools you probably already have, how to write a clear prompt, and how to save real time on everyday tasks like emails, summaries and plans.
It is designed for people who know little or nothing about AI, works with Microsoft 365 Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude and Google Gemini, and runs online, so staff can fit it around their day.

The bigger picture
The AI Licence and Explorer are the first steps of a full learning journey: 17 courses and over 100 short lessons, taking people from their first AI conversation to automating real workflows and leading AI change in their team. It includes role tracks for HR, Finance, Sales and Marketing, Customer Service, Operations, Legal and senior leaders, practical guides for the main AI tools, and a technical track for IT and security teams. Managers get a dashboard showing who has completed the Licence and how their team is progressing. The whole programme is available in any language.
