Start: ASAP
Location: Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk 
Hours: Full time Monday to Friday 9am – 5:30pm, Saturdays 9am – 5pm, CLOSED Sunday (A day off in the week is allocated when working a Saturday and one Saturday PCM off as a minimum) 
Salary: £Competitive + Incentives + Commission and Bonuses!

The agency are looking for a fresh leader to motivate and develop their already strong existing team, if you are a real team player who loves dealing with customers face to face and love the local business development side to Branch Management then this role could be perfect for you. Working towards rewarding targets you will be responsible for leading, motivating and developing the team to deliver excellent customer service and maximise sales, ancillary bookings and profitability. 

Duties: 

  • Leading the team by example, working towards branch targets together
  • Focusing on the local Business Developing with the support of the H/O Marketing Team
  • Motivating the team with management skills to increase excitement of incentives
  • Arranging flights, insurance and accommodation
  • Using a booking system to secure holidays
  • Collecting and processing payments
  • Advising clients on travel arrangements, e.g. visas and passports
  • Sending out tickets to clients
  • Keeping clients up to date with any changes
  • Dealing with complaints or refunds 

Skills and Experience: 

  • MUST have previous travel agency branch manager experience of at least 2 years
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • A keen eye for detail and be comfortable with multi-tasking
  • Personal travel experience would be an advantage
  • Ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team
  • Ability to thrive in a busy, fast-paced environment
